How do you charge?

It depends on the type of job, the size of the job, and the condition of the job. Just tell the operator all the details and you will be given a free estimate over the phone.

Do you clean on weekends?

On a regular basis, no. However there have been occasions that we have done some work on the weekends. The charge for weekend cleaning is a little higher than through the week. You will need to ask the operator for a price.

What are your hours?

We like to be at our first house no later than 9:00 AM and be at our last house no later than 3:00 PM so that we may be out of the house before the customer gets home.

What do I need to do to have the house ready?

Make sure you leave a check, and that we have a way to get into the house, and you have picked up the house so that we may spend our time cleaning.

How can I trust a stranger to come into my house?

We understand how you must feel so we have done everything we can think of to make sure that the people coming into your house are professional, trustworthy and courteous. All workers must provide a clean police report before they are hired and must keep a clean police report throughout their employment. Most of the people who are working for Maid to Mop now have been here for at least three or four years. And we have not had any problems with them. We are insured and bonded in case there is an accident. If you still don’t feel comfortable with that, then of course you are welcome to stay at home the whole time we’re cleaning.

How do I keep track of when you are coming?

For cleaning on a regular basis, we always call the customer the night before the cleaning to remind them that we will be there. This gives the customer notice to make sure they have done their part to have the house ready for the cleaners. (Leaving a check, how are we to get in, and picking up house.)

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1993. We are insured, bonded, and listed with the Better Business Bureau in good standing.

How often should I have my house cleaned?

The most common is every two weeks. But we do have customers who want every week, every three weeks or even every month. We can accommodate any situation; however, the price may also change depending on how often you want your house cleaned.

Do I need to provide any cleaning supplies?

No, we are equipped with all supplies needed. However, some of our customers have special request for a particular product that we do not carry. If this is the case then the customer needs to provide the product and we will gladly use it.

How does your crew get into my house?

You may be at home to let them in, leave a key in a hidden place, or give us the garage code. Some of our customers give Maid to Mop the key so that we may keep the key at our office or whichever way you feel most comfortable.

How can I pay?

You may pay by check written to Maid to Mop, cash, or by Visa or MasterCard. No matter how you pay, payment is expected at time of service. We do not bill.
